This Senior Business Analyst will help to deliver on Fire and Emergency’s values the Enterprise Project Management Office are building our business analysis capability. This role is a vital part of our project delivery, to better support the organisation in delivering change we are looking for someone to:
- Define problems and assist in developing solutions
- Deliver benefit-led project deliverables
- Lead requirement gathering
- Complete current state and gap analysis
- Support building the ongoing development of the organisation’s Business Analysis capability

This is a fixed term position until 27th June 2025.

By joining our team as a Business Analyst, you will leverage your professional curiosity and aptitude for challenging the status quo. Your previous work experience will demonstrate that you are organised, collaborative, and can build relationships all while dealing with ambiguity. You will show initiative and good judgement to work in a complex and challenging environment.
To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will:
- Strong project experience as a Business Analyst, or directly transferrable skills from a similar role
- An ability to build collaborative working relationships with a wide range of people across an organisation
- Experience developing business cases and strong documentation and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to create and update business diagrams
- Demonstrated exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Documentation and facilitation skills and exceptional time management skills
The salary range for this role is $114,663 - $127,404 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
