Freightways Information Services Ltd (FIS) is a leading internal shared services provider of IT and advisory services to Freightways businesses. We manage Freightways' overall IT infrastructure and maintain strong relationships with selected external IT suppliers.

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for someone embarking their journey as a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic Data & Insights team. In this role, you will collaborate with both technical and non-technical data users across Freightways Information Services to transform data into valuable insights that drive business decision-making. You will also have the opportunity to work with other business entities within the Freightways group to assist in their journey of turning data into measurable business outcomes (EBIT).

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the FIS product and management teams to understand data needs and challenges.
Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI to track KPIs, agile velocity, and ROI deliverables.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing rigorous validation and quality assurance processes.
Work with the Data Engineers to gather technical requirements for data-related projects.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

A qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL queries.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Ability to design and develop high-quality data visualizations that drive data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
