Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Insights Analyst to support our Future Students Team. As a Business Insights Analyst, you will support the team by using data to help improve student recruitment. You will analyse data, create visual reports, and use predictive models to provide valuable insights that help guide recruitment strategies and decisions. Your work will be key in making data-driven improvements to how we attract students!
Mōu | Who You Are
You will be an experienced Business Insights Analyst with at least 6 years in a similar role, holding a Postgraduate Diploma and Certificate (NZQA Level 8) or a Master's Degree, ideally in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Your skills will include:
- Extensive experience in business analysis, information analysis, or data science within large organisations, ideally across multiple functions and industries.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualisation tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI, with the ability to design clear, engaging dashboards, presentations, and reports.
- Experience managing data from multiple sources within a data warehouse platform, preferably Snowflake.
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights for management.
- Proven track record of addressing complex management questions through data-driven insights and advanced analytical methods.
- Ability to work independently with confidence, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
