Senior Business Analyst, Income Group, Wellington

We're seeking a permanent and fixed term Senior Business Analyst to join our Income Group within Service Delivery.
We are continuously improving our income support systems, to make it easier to understand, and navigate - to provide fair, consistent, accurate and timely support to New Zealanders.
Within the Income Group there is a mix of exciting work programmes, including cross agency initiatives that greatly enhance the access to services, income, and the wellbeing of New Zealanders.
You'll be part of a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team, and you'll need to be highly collaborative with others from across the business.
You'll get involved with different business groups, working to understand and identify their needs and lead solution focused options. We have a complex work programme, so you'll need to be able to provide high quality advice on business issues in a range of areas.
You will be working as part of an Agile delivery team. We are looking for a clear thinker with a natural attention to detail.
To this, you will:
- Provide advice and guidance at a senior level across Service Delivery, including providing support to the Delivery Lead and Director.
- Enable work programme delivery, including leading items of work and supporting new epics and initiatives through feasibility, suitability, and impact assessments.
- Be proficient in core business analysis skills, including analysis, requirements gathering, problem definition and facilitating workshops.
- Use your expertise and extensive knowledge to develop and maintain strong relationships, while collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across MSD and other agencies.
- Be a great problem solver, using strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, you will identify and understand pain points, including identifying continuous improvement.
- Embrace the Business Analyst practice to support the development of new Business Analysts within the wider Service Delivery.

Salary range: $102,533.00 - $124,402.00
