About Us

All of Government Services Delivery (AoGSD), part of the Digital Public Service Branch (DPS), brings together the functions that deliver services to or for the public sector, and is responsible for an All of Government Portfolio of digital products and ICT Services (the Portfolio).

We standardise and consolidate agency ICT infrastructure and services and work with the supplier market to deliver modern digital procurement models for digital and ICT. We also champion All of Government Web Standards and use of Common Capabilities across agencies, as well as providing centralised essential information products and services.

About the role

The Business Analyst position provides business analysis services at a senior level (self-sufficiently, knowledgeably, leading and guiding the work of others).

Key responsibilities include:

Scope and define business requirements for new functionality including review of existing applications and business processes.
Undertake options and scenario analysis to understand the impact of design decisions
Identify, develop and implement opportunities to improve business processes / systems.

About you

You will use your extensive business analysis skills such as facilitation, requirements gathering, options analysis and documentation to build and maintain timely, innovative and fit-for-purpose system improvements that support regulatory outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Proficiency in a wide range of business analysis tools (e.g., business process mapping).
A focus on best practice and delivering results.
The ability to juggle multiple pieces of work at once.
Expertise in relationship building and stakeholder management.
Confidence sharing your recommendations/advice with senior management.
