We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the development of a large-scale, complex project.

About the Role: The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders across NZQA to gather, analyse, and document business requirements. They will also be responsible for work sizing and contributing to the strategic direction of the project.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst (5+ years) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is experienced in Better Business Case development. The ideal candidate will have worked within large/complex projects and programmes, and have exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end requirements gathering process, engaging with stakeholders to define clear, concise, and actionable business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and project management, to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Support work sizing activities by analysing requirements, providing estimates, and ensuring accurate scoping of tasks.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions to identify business needs, pain points, and improvement areas.
- Develop detailed business process maps, and functional specifications.
