About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
This is a hands-on but also relationship-driven role and will require strong technical skills across data, analytics and insights as well as stakeholder management in order to facilitate the best business decisions for WoolworthsNZ. This role is all about storytelling and bringing our stakeholders on the journey, you will translate complex technical information into simple and visually appealing presentations and tools.
You should be able to hit the ground running from day one in this role. Leveraging your expertise across SQL, Tableau and Data Visualization tools. Understanding our customer behaviour and delivering timely, accurate and relevant data are some of the key strategic pillars in this role.
You will be responsible for leveraging your analytical expertise to help optimise and execute data-driven campaigns for stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, develop strategies, and implement campaigns that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering insights that are accurate, timely and relevant
Analyse campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to optimise marketing strategies
Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement A/B testing and other experiments to improve campaign effectiveness
Enable the development and execution of business strategy
Deliver insights that are easy to consume and understand
Driving and understanding of the ‘so what’ that leads to business decisions
Pragmatic analytical angles that unlock the value of data
Source data from relevant systems such as GCP (Google Cloud Platform, SQL), Quantium, Nielsen Develop and continuous improvement in data sets that enable improvement in analytical capabilities and business KPI’s
Mentor and coach more junior team members
Lead projects from beginning to end
Working closely with cross functional analytics team and business stakeholders
Develop and maintain highly engaged relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Effectively prioritise projects
Deliver quality outcomes
About You | Mōu
Min 3 years experience in Analytics and Insights delivery
Commercial experience ( FMCG preferred)
Project management
Experience in extracting data or integrate data sets (SQL, Python)
Experience in presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders at different levels
Experience in working with data analytics visualisation and workflow tools such as SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics
