This role sits within the Strategy, Growth and Planning Unit who ensure long-term guardianship of strategic planning and development. They make decisions in the best interests of our city and our region (with a boundaryless view). They create inter-generational and environmental sustainability.
Whatdoes a dayinthisjoblooklike?
In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of growth-related spatial data. You will use spatialised population, dwelling, and zoning information to provide actionable insights to council stakeholders to inform policy and planning positions.
You will also be responsible for the regular maintenance and enhancement of the critical process of tracking Hamilton’s residential and non-residential growth capacity. This would involve using software such as ArcGIS Pro, FME and Power BI.

Circa $88K per annum dependent on skills and experience.
