Te tūranga - The role and your impactPlay an important role and join the Information Security to ensure the provision of prudent security strategy, policy and standards across Te Pūtea Matua's technology environment. The team ensures that Te Pūtea Matua's data is not undermined by breaches in information security controls and adheres to various governance, industry standards and compliance frameworks. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Providing effective information security analysis to business stakeholders and to Digital Solutions and Security
- Using risk and information security expertise to perform assurance activities for the delivery of projects and programmes and providing advice and guidance to ensure adoption of and adherence to information security architectures, strategies, policies, standards and guidelines.
- Ensuring that the controls implemented to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, systems and infrastructure are thoroughly assessed and operate as designed by utilising the Certification and Accreditation process.
Ō pūkenga - About youWe're looking for someone who has a pragmatic and collaborative approach to managing risk and working with a wide range of stakeholders. If you have:
- A minimum 3 years' experience in a technical IT role and a minimum of 2 years in an information security or risk management role.
- A relevant tertiary, technical or industry qualification.
- Experience working within the ICT environment and in information security audit and assurance disciplines, including evaluating security risks and controls for 'cloud' technology and "xaaS" models
