We are seeking an experienced dynamic individual to join the Survey Title and Enhancement Programme (STEP) as a Senior Business Analyst in the Survey/Rūritanga squad. The ideal candidate will use their Agile/SAFe or similar experience to support delivery of features throughout each increment, from lean business case development through to solution delivery.
This exciting position will be suited to an individual with initiative and a collaborative nature because you will be working with a variety of stakeholders across Toitū Te Whenua. Requirements gathering, facilitating across programmes of work, working in virtual teams, and advocating for the customer will come naturally to you and you will thrive in an environment where what you do has a real impact on everyday New Zealanders.
He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Experience leading and managing the business analysis effort for medium to large scale projects.
- Work closely with staff through observation, workshop facilitation and comfortable using virtual collaboration tools.
- Experience challenging thinking, asking good questions to understand processes, issues, and barriers.
- Clear oral and written communication to deliver requirements through practical technical documentation and business case contribution.
- Knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management frameworks as well as Agile delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity liaising across projects to contribute to the advancement and implementation of solutions, ensuring key insights are shared.
- Interest to coach and mentor Business Analysts to support the growth of analysis capabilities.
