Business Analyst, Income Portfolio, Wellington

We're seeking experienced Business Analysts to join our portfolio within Service Delivery.
We are continuously improving our income support systems, to make it easier to understand, and navigate – to provide fair, consistent, accurate and timely support to New Zealanders.
This is an exciting time to work in our Service Delivery portfolios where you will be involved with complex work programmes and provide high quality advice on business issues.
These are great roles to get involved with different business groups, to understand and identify their needs and lead solution focused options. You'll be part of a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team, and you'll need to be highly collaborative with others from across the business.
We are looking for a person who is both energetic, confident, driven to succeed, and have a practical approach to identifying business needs and supporting a broad range of business work programmes.
To be successful in these roles, you'll have proven experience of:
- Working as a Business Analyst as part of an Agile delivery team
- Contributing to diverse work programmes and being responsible for tracking and monitoring progress requirements, identifying risks, planning, and achieving targeted project outcomes
- Analyse and understand business needs and translate them into fit for purpose user stories / requirements with clear acceptance criteria
- Assisting in the business process or system design to capture business requirements
- Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to ensure user stories are understood and solution outcomes are achieved
- Build and maintain effective working relationships
You will have a wide range of skills in your toolkit which exposes you to all kinds of responsibilities which adds variety and excitement to your professional career.

Salary range: $78,222.00 - $94,689.00
