The opportunity - Te tūranga
Working as part of the Content Media Systems Investment Programme (CMSIP), the Business Analyst will be involved with different areas of the business to help the programme be successful in the delivery of the programme's strategic objectives. This role will involve the elicitation and documentation of requirements / user stories; current and future process flows, procedures and policies; solution design; assisting with the development of test cases; and user acceptance and training coordination. Project delivery methods can be agile, waterfall or hybrid. This role also includes data analysis as it relates to the migration of data from legacy to new systems.
This is a 12- 18 month fixed term contract.
What We're Looking For - Tā mātou e kimi nei:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following
- A minimum of 7 years in a Business Analyst role including roles within large projects and, preferably, large programmes of work
- Wealth of experience working with project teams
- An understanding of the media industry is highly desirable in particular across the Content Media Supply Chain (from rights management and programming and scheduling through to digital and traditional broadcast distribution is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods
- Experience working in technology and business focused projects
- Experience working within projects and programmes delivering significant transformational change.
- Familiarity and experience with Excel and Jira. Preferably, familiarity with SQL and Power BI.
