Your opportunity
As our Business Analyst, you will assist in the delivery of the ERP Moderdernisation Program within Redland City Council. The role is to analyse and document business processes and procedures relating to core business systems, and to identify, develop and implement improvements to processes and strategies to deliver project outcomes.
Guided by our Values , you will: Conduct a business process review of Council's existing processes through the documentation, analysis and re-engineering of existing and future business processes and systems, to facilitate business and system improvement initiatives with a best practice focus.
Influence stakeholder understanding of business process improvement opportunities and recommend business process solutions to improve productivity.
Document a current-state Functional Utilization Map (FUM) for all TechOne software across all groups and units at RCC and a Functional Equivalency Map (FEM) for all TechOne software across all FUM items identified in the FUM.
Document business requirements for technology solutions and business process change that meet both the business needs and align to Line of Business and corporate plans.
Ensure business processes are supported through the full lifecycle for the duration of the project. Including working with quality management (Training, Testing, UAT and Go-live) with post go-live, defects management support.

We would love to hear from you or someone you know who has: Substantial experience in a business analyst role with highly developed consultation skills.
Skills and experience in documentation development demonstrated by achievement in: Using BPMN, diagramming complex business processes. Preparing business requirements in accordance with industry business analyst. body of knowledge (BABOK) standards.
Experience and skills in Functional Utilization Mapping and Functional Equivalency Mapping for a complex enterprise system.
Demonstrated project experience using a proven project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE 2). Experience in effectively managing multiple priorities and ability to multitask across projects/work packages concurrently.

Desirable
Tertiary qualification in information management, business or related discipline.
Project management certification.
Business Analyst certification.
BABOK and Prince 2 Methodology knowledge.
