Our Opportunity
Due to the retirement of one of our highly valued team members we are now looking to recruit a Senior Business Systems Analyst for our Private Health Insurance business. This position is open to candidates who are looking for either Full Time or Part Time (3 or 4 days per week).
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a critical role within our business at Australia Unity playing a key role in supporting the management of our Private Health Insurance business systems and being a conduit between Business, Process and Group technology teams.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Investigating issues & responding queries raised by the business for PHI core system functionality.
- Managing/supporting daily batch process scheduling & execution.
- Supporting BI and tech development teams by proving expert knowledge on system (functionality, data & services).
- Managing system master data & configuration.
- Validating system changes made by supplier/tech teams.
- Translating the impact of system changes on the business
- Supporting Senior Manager Business Systems in implementing system controls and business system administration.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth processing of day-to-day business activities through systems such as direct debits, claims, banking reconciliation, yearly rate updates, product creation/update, tax statement generation, data destruction, rebate configuration etc.
About you
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to change, a natural collaborative approach, can do attitude and the ability to think ‘outside of the box’ to deliver best practice solutions to all stakeholders. Additionally, the Senior Business Systems Analyst is specialist in Private Health Insurance systems preferably Whics / Ensure (Civica) and possesses a good understanding of PHI industry. Knowledge of Salesforce and Genesys will be an added value.
In addition to the above we are also looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 3-5 years experience supporting complex systems as a systems specialist
- Knowledge of Private Health Insurance industry solving system issues and business processes
- Demonstrated (and strong experience) with Private Health Insurance related systems (Membership, Claims, Products & Sales) is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with SQL, MS Excel or any other data tool would be highly regarded
- Service now queue management and Salesforce administration would be highly regarded
- Working knowledge of SDLC, Test Development Lifecycle and Agile Development
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for working in highly collaborative environments.
