About the role and team
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Workflow/Business Analyst to join our Smarter Recovery Solutions team within our Dispute Resolution section on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Working closely with the Manager - Smarter Recovery Solutions, the primary focus of this role is to is to provide solutions in relation to debt recovery within the Smarter Recovery Solutions team which is a specialised team within our Dispute Resolution team who act for a large number of clients and manage a high-volume practice.
You will be responsible for:
- working with the SRS team to determine their requirements to develop processes and workflows;
- coding and uploading legal documents and correspondence, defining processes and workflows in the matter management system;
- assisting with project management of the debt recovery solution rollout;
- creating and maintain documentation for debt recovery, including testing procedures, test plans and any user guides;
- reviewing and test coded precedent templates and the workflows solutions that are developed;
- managing multiple projects concurrently;
- contributing to continuous improvement, promoting the use of technology solutions; and
- assisting in reviewing client reporting and creating reporting specifications based on the client’s requirements.
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years’ experience working with technology systems or document automation solutions (Training will be provided on the specific solutions used);
- intermediate experience with document automation and testing;
- well-developed communication and internal/external relationship management skills;
- proven business analysis skills;
- project management skills;
- knowledge of legal processes and legal technology, including technical platforms, specific technical applications and their impact on the practice of law;
- understand document automation/assembly within a legal process or debt recovery context;
- familiarity with client reports and specification documents;
- familiarity with the use of professional software engineering methodologies and technologies (SDLC) including time recording, code management, testing development, staging and test environments and change request specification;
- highly organised and ability to prioritise competing tasks;
- strong attention to detail; and
- clear and concise communication skills.
