They are currently looking for an Investment and Development Analyst to join the business working across a significant portfolio of assets.
With a highly experienced in-house team that actively manages a $2.3bn portfolio of industrial, retail, office and healthcare assets throughout New Zealand, they provide investors with a range of single and multi-asset investment opportunities. Their investors receive attractive returns through a combination of monthly income and capital growth. These results are underpinned by an active asset management strategy that focuses on ownership of medium to large scale, strategically positioned, high quality assets with long WALTs and strong tenant covenants.
The Role To provide commercial analytical and financial modelling support to the business in relation to new acquisitions and developments, as well as opportunities within the existing managed portfolio.
Reporting to the Manager – Investment Analysis, the role will be integral to all transactional activity with a primary focus on new acquisitions and developments, as well as opportunities within the existing managed portfolio.
The role will work closely with Senior Management, Asset Management, and Development teams in the information management and data analysis of property transaction and development decisions as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting.
The role will also work closely with the Finance team and the Senior Manager Funds Development to ensure an efficient end-to-end approach to the establishment of new funds and investment vehicles.
The Person It is expected the successful candidate will possess the following:
- An NZ recognised tertiary degree in Property, Finance and/or Commerce;
- High financial aptitude, commercial acumen and ability to analyse financial data from financial statements, budgets, business plans and valuations;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to produce high-quality reports, analysis and presentations under tight deadlines;
- Strong numerical reasoning and well-developed financial modelling skills with ideally an understanding and working knowledge of asset/property management;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
