About the role:
The Business Analyst is responsible for an Oracle stabilisation project that will help Nova establish the baseline for how our system operates. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, and translating business needs into actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyse data and processes, and recommend improvements to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to informed decision-making and the successful implementation for this exciting project.
What will you be involved in:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to elicit and clarify business needs
- Analyse data, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement
- Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories
- Utilise analytical tools and techniques to interpret data and derive meaningful insights
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and trends
- Work with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business requirements
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of the proposed solutions
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues during testing phases
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the organisation
What we would like from you:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a professional environment
- Qualifications or demonstrated training in Business Analysis, process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) or Change Management is desirable
- Experience with Continuous Improvement Concepts will be beneficial
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience with ERP systems and process would be highly beneficial
