Responsible for consulting and navigating the direction of the Aurion software, this Business Analyst role will be a part of our Software Development team which are building our Version 12 product.
Responsibilities
As an integral member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyse requirements from stakeholders and the software delivery team to document and create a clear understanding of the product development direction
- Meticulously research and explore business-related problems that help inform product development
- Document functional requirements of user stories while ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and deliver tangible value (INVEST approach)
- Record and evaluate customer journeys, screen mock-ups and other system design artefacts as required
- Effectively communicate functional and non-functional requirements and constraints of future product development to internal stakeholders
- Apply critical thinking and challenge the business with new ways of working and solving complex problems and scenarios
- Manage different stakeholder needs and goals throughout the Aurion business
- Collaborate closely with the internal team; Developers, User Experience Designers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and a variety of internal departments to achieve team goals
Skills and experience
We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, along with the following qualities:
- Previous experience in a similar Business Analyst role delivering impactful software as part of a software delivery team
- Practical knowledge of modelling business and data processes using a variety of tools and techniques
- Experience and understanding of the Payroll and HCM solutions is highly regarded
- Meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to the day-to-day work of story-writing and delivery
- Highly advantageous to keep up with evolving tech trends and can relate them back to real-world business opportunities.
- You are a collaborative team member, and are able to contribute to an open and honest environment where ideas and views are discussed freely
