Responsible for consulting and navigating the direction of the Aurion software, this Business Analyst role will be a part of our Software Development team which are building our Version 12 product.

Responsibilities

As an integral member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Analyse requirements from stakeholders and the software delivery team to document and create a clear understanding of the product development direction
Meticulously research and explore business-related problems that help inform product development
Document functional requirements of user stories while ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and deliver tangible value (INVEST approach)
Record and evaluate customer journeys, screen mock-ups and other system design artefacts as required
Effectively communicate functional and non-functional requirements and constraints of future product development to internal stakeholders
Apply critical thinking and challenge the business with new ways of working and solving complex problems and scenarios
Manage different stakeholder needs and goals throughout the Aurion business
Collaborate closely with the internal team; Developers, User Experience Designers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and a variety of internal departments to achieve team goals

Skills and experience

We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, along with the following qualities:

Previous experience in a similar Business Analyst role delivering impactful software as part of a software delivery team
Practical knowledge of modelling business and data processes using a variety of tools and techniques
Experience and understanding of the Payroll and HCM solutions is highly regarded
Meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to the day-to-day work of story-writing and delivery
Highly advantageous to keep up with evolving tech trends and can relate them back to real-world business opportunities.
You are a collaborative team member, and are able to contribute to an open and honest environment where ideas and views are discussed freely
