He angitutanga | About the role
Our Treaty Negotiations and Land Directorate is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive process and systems improvements to support the implementation of its Treaty Settlement System Project. You will also be involved in other work programmes within the directorate.
Your primary focus will be to lead business analysis requirements and develop the processes and systems that improve the way in which DOC manages the end-to-end development of Treaty Settlements with iwi and hapu. This is a complex area of work with significant Treaty Partner and stakeholder interest, so it is critical we get this right to ensure we are implementing Treaty settlements effectively.

If you have the following attributes, we are keen to hear from you:
- experience in programme and project management fundamentals and development of key artefacts
- expertise in using business analysis tools and techniques, including business process mapping and use of supporting tools
- proficient at developing written reports, diagrams and visuals to convey information, including to non-specialists
- knowledge of system design and demonstrated capability to utilise systems thinking in analysis
- workshop facilitation skills in both physical and virtual environments
- an understanding of Treaty of Waitangi rights and interests and their implications

The salary range for this position is $92, 450 to $116, 985 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
