About the role
You will work with Project Managers, business unit leaders and cross-functional team members to ensure that business and functional requirements for technology projects are agreed, documented, and delivered through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
You will join a dynamic IT Program Delivery team, delivering digital transformational projects in support of our corporate vision, all with the benefit of strong executive and business support. Our highly collaborative IT team works across multiple technologies including Salesforce, MarkLogic, Azure, and bespoke applications. We are progressing on our agile delivery journey, with a focus on continuous improvement and shared learning.
This is a full-time, contract role with 12 months of work.
What you'll do
- Analyse business requirements and create ‘as-is’, ‘to-be’ process flows, solution flow diagrams, and use cases
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders, to develop detailed design artefacts and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
- Translate functional epics into clear, structured users stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
- Work with technical teams to define technical concept specifications, non-functional epics, system interfaces and integration points.
- Lead refinement and backlog grooming ceremonies, ensuring user stories are ready for sprint planning.
- Capture stakeholder feedback during sprint and release demos
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in Architectural Review Board (ARB) to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and quarterly Big Room Planning (BRP) sessions
About you
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with hands-on involvement across the software development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of enterprise software, cloud technologies, APIs and system integrations
- Experience working in Agile and hybrid project environments
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, BPMN and other business process modelling tools
- Strong technical documentation, process modelling, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams by simplifying complex concepts.
