The HSBC UK Customer Redress Project Teams are collectively responsible for working with stakeholders to discover and define impacted customer scope and to design and deliver timely communication and redress payments to those customers, ensuring that quality plans and project artefacts are created and projects delivered in line with governance and policy requirements.
Role purpose
The HSBC UK Customer Redress Business Analyst is responsible for supporting all phases of a project lifecycle from Discovery & Define to establish scope through to Design and to ensure redress projects are delivered within timeline, budget, regulation and to HSBC Customer Redress defined standards.
This role will work alongside Project Managers and in collaboration with Data Analysts and the wider Execution Teams support multiple projects simultaneously.

In this role you will:
Support the HSBC UK Customer Redress team in putting things right for customers by providing accurate business analysis, using excellent excel skills to interpret data
- Elicit requirements from the business and translate these into a format suitable for Redress analytics
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and sound business judgements.
- Work closely with Product and other teams to agree scope and approach, ensuring customers are at the heart of our decision making in supporting the fulfilment of redress activity.
- Support meeting minutes, RAID logs, governance artefacts, tracking and documenting project progress and managing status reporting to stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Good experience of producing high quality documentation is essential.
- Developed analytical skills (including technical expertise with Excel) to extract information from data and translate into easily understood language, but also into Analytics Requirements.
- Track record of resilience and a proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to demanding timelines.
- Change management experience including planning and stakeholder engagements is desirable
- Background of working with project plans and Jira, Confluence understanding is desirable.
- Demonstrated results in delivering performance improvement, successfully applying innovative thinking
The role is based in Birmingham as the primary location UK Hybrid – Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh
