About the role:
The Digital Delivery and Innovation Team, within Integrated Services, supports the delivery of the firmwide strategy and aligns with the firmwide transformation agenda; bringing together business understanding, human insight and innovative technology to meet the business’s needs. They support our people through strategic use of people technologies, optimising, enhancing and delivering technology that helps underpin our people operations.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover to help us deliver our suite of people technology services across our business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about analysing business needs and implementing solutions that drive our success. We are particularly keen to attract people with BA experience and experience with Workday Talent & Performance/ HCM modules.
Your role will be to collaborate with key stakeholders to support projects and programmes across the domain, predominantly within the people landscape, gathering, validating, and documenting various system information and requirements.
What your days will look like:
Meeting with stakeholders to understand and review business objectives and project requirements
Becoming SME in your domain and offering regular insight to identify opportunities for improvement, optimisation and change.
Documenting the current ‘As Is’ using process maps and presenting back to stakeholders ‘to be’ and options papers for solutions
Considering business requirements against the current processes and assisting in the development and / or implementation of requirements utilising analysis techniques
Attending regular project meetings and Coordinating project input
Working with project managers to deliver projects and programmes to plan
Testing new releases and coordinating UAT for projects.
Conducting impact analysis on pending changes.
The Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
Knowledge of Workday Talent and Performance modules
Understanding of HR processes related to talent management, performance management, succession planning and employee development
Understanding of cyclical talent reviews and how these are managed in Workday
Ability to influence and advise on how talent and performance processes should be driven from strategy through to execution
Ability to manage change related to talent and performance process improvements
Skills in communicating changes and improvements effectively to stakeholders and end-users
Ability to quickly grasp new people technologies and train end-users on how to use them
Experience of working as a Business Analyst or consultant within complex environments
Good understanding of Business Analysis frameworks, value cycles, business processes, business requirements and UAT methodologies
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and recommend proposals to customers
Proven analytical and sceptical mindset with an ability to develop solutions to technical problems
Collaborative and able to work across wide people networks and landscapes.Building strong relationships with our internal performance and talent teams, 3rd party providers and the wider people function
