Business Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Mobile Worker – 2-3 days in Birmingham, with travel to various units

We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Change Team and play a crucial role in delivering transformation initiatives, including the OS2.0 programme. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that solutions meet both sector-specific and enterprise-wide goals.

As Business Analyst you will be required to

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for transformation projects.
Conduct detailed process analysis and mapping to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and solutions.
Support solution design, validation, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Engage with stakeholders regularly, providing updates on project progress and ensuring their needs are met.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support process optimisation efforts across the business.

The Successful Business Analyst Will Have:

5+ years of experience as a business analyst, particularly within large-scale transformation programmes.
Proven expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements for complex projects.
Experience in process mapping and business process re-engineering.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to create clear and detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
