- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Qualified Accountant, ACCA or ACA.
- 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, within audit or multinational company.
- Ability to remove and anticipate roadblocks with the potential to impede progress.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Sheets and other spreadsheet technology.

- Support central management and oversight of the Statutory Financial Statement process across all companies in the EMEA region, providing analytics, insight and progress reports against agreed milestones to regional leadership.
- Partner with Company Accountants to deliver annual audit plans across all EMEA companies and provide training on new and existing processes.
- Work alongside the Statutory Financial Statement Process Lead to develop and implement a central audit support program that meets the needs of Google’s EMEA Controllership function, ensuring appropriate resourcing models are in place to deliver to compliance deadlines.
- Collaborate with the external auditors on process changes relating to the Statutory Financial Statement process and audit strategy, ensuring clarity for the EMEA Controllership on the annual audit approach (including PBCs) and fee structure.
- Oversee centralized deliverables for all EMEA audits, including legal and bank confirms.
