Due to continued growth, Fastway is seeking a full-time, positive individual to join our dedicated team, at our Head Office in Greenogue, Dublin 24. The successful candidates will be joining an experienced, skilled, and dedicated team who strive to provide excellent service to our clients, and parcel receivers alike.
- Understand how our business works cross functionally so you are best placed to consider the impacts of a project requirement.
- To identify and manage stakeholders across the business while ensuring you follow project sponsorship.
- Understand the customers(internal & external) objectives of projects and their anticipated outcomes.
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions, stakeholder and group sessions to identify business requirements and understand all steps in the project and ensure analysis methodologies are adhered to.
- Create and own a full set of business requirements for projects, ensuring sign off from nominated project stakeholders.
- Maintain a requirements traceability document throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure changes to requirements are fully agreed and tracked.
- Lead sessions with key business areas to document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes
- Ensure delivery of the requirements through technical and development teams, reviews and signs off technical specifications.
- Support UAT and defect management as owner of the agreed business requirements
- Creates user documentation and manuals for new systems / processes and hold demos as necessary.
- Manage your work/roadmap in a timely manner to ensure stakeholders can easily understand progress being made.
- Manage the project planning and communications with the business, align their input to the project with the project plan to ensure smooth change management.
- Manage budget, spend, change control, schedule and RAID ( Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions) using a structured project management methods, reporting to management regularly, using agile methodology.
- Manage the scope, delivery, testing, sign-off and introduction into support of any technology changes required to meet specific requirements for individual teams.
- Provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding system functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
- You will manage your development resources effectively, hold retrospectives , ensure reporting on performance.
- Always be aware of work requests having alignment to strategic business objectives.
Skills & Experience:
- 3rd level degree in IT/business.
- 3 5 years working as a business analyst in an agile environment.
- Expertise in conceptual modelling; ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions.
- Facilitation of consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions
- Ability to ask strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to issues or create dependencies
- A track record of documenting requirements formally or informally, depending on need
- Understanding of the agile development framework, and specifically Scrum.
- Familiarity with requirements techniques such as user stories, use cases, and informal modelling.
- Self-motivated and committed, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, with changing priorities.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
