In this role, you'll:
Join the Group Technology branch in Transport and collaborate with multiple government agencies on the Driver Licence Project and to uplift and transform legacy platforms. This project will determine which products and services can be integrated, allowing Transport to operate seamlessly offline while delivering various products and services within our technology environment. It will also analyse product compatibility and identify the architectural solutions necessary to establish a new operating environment.
You will conduct a detailed analysis of business needs, facilitate workshops, and document both functional and non-functional requirements as Epics, Features and User Stories with functional acceptance criteria.
You will analyse current business processes, develop process maps, and recommend innovative solutions. Liaising with stakeholders at all levels, you will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, use cases and manage them to its completion and approved state., and generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Please note that this role is a fixed-term full-time contract till 31/10/25 based in Parramatta with a hybrid work arrangement of 1-2 days in the office per week.

About you
•Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on major complex CRM and regulatory policy driven projects.
•Proficiency in process mapping and analysis.
•Experience in transformation projects.
•Previous experience in the government sector is highly regarded.
•Experience with Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Miro is essential.
•Expertise in business analysis tools and techniques and Agile delivery methodology
•Ability to quickly grasp complex operational and system concepts and translate them to meet diverse stakeholder needs and deliverables.
•Competency in analysing, isolating, and interpreting business needs to develop and document appropriate requirements (business, functional, and technical) and specifications.
•Comprehensive knowledge of the full system development life cycle, including deliverables within each phase and the Business Analyst’s role within these phases
•Advanced communication skills and a proven ability to conduct successful workshops with senior stakeholder and cross agencies.
•Self-starter, proactive mindset and must be able to handle requirements sets independently.
