IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with experience in building ontology diagrams and collaborating with cross-functional teams across ITC, including executive leadership and federal clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ontologies and their application in a business context. The primary responsibility of this role is to create comprehensive business ontologies that map out customer people, processes, and technology. This analysis will drive customer intimacy initiatives and identify opportunities for cost optimization within the organization and our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to gather information about customer interactions, business processes, and technology infrastructure
- Develop and maintain detailed ontologies that accurately represent the relationships between customer entities, processes, and technologies
- Utilize ontology development tools and methodologies to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the ontologies
- Apply analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insights within the ontological data
- Generate reports and visualizations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify opportunities to improve customer intimacy by leveraging the insights derived from the ontologies
- Collaborate with process improvement teams to identify and implement cost optimization measures based on the ontological analysis
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in ontology development and business analysis
Location: This role is remote within the United States and supports EST working hours.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining ontologies, with a strong understanding of ontological principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in ontology development tools and analysis software, such as Analyst Notebook, Palantir, and Microsoft 365
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and draw insights from complex data sets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience collaborating with Private Sector and Federal clients
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in intelligence analysis, specifically understanding centers of gravity and non-kinetic targeting analysis
- Experience within DOD Special Operations intelligence analysis or targeting
- Experience in the IT industry
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
Clearance:
- Must have the ability to obtain DOD Top Secret clearance
