Te Tūranga | About the role
As a Business Analyst you’ll provide quality digital advice, analysis, and support for business unit operations and digital optimization.
So of the key outcomes for this position are:
- Engage with the business to improve processes, manage change, provide training, and support testing activities.
- Collaborate with product owners to maintain the product backlog and ensure readiness for future iterations.
- Conduct detailed analysis on user stories to aid the development team in delivering solutions.
- Complete assigned tasks in line with delivery team goals, including escalating issues to third-party support when necessary.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Work as a cross-functional team member to ensure shared accountability and collaboration.
Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of agile delivery experience (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, Scaled Agile Framework).
- 5+ years of business analysis experience.
- 2+ years of customer-centric design experience.
- Proven experience in developing user stories from requirements gathering.
- Experience in implementing new systems and designing new processes.
- Experience in analytics and gathering insights from ERP and BI environments.
- Collaborative work experience with team members and cross-functional duties.
- Experience with ERP systems (beneficial).
- Experience with agile tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence (beneficial).
- Proven experience in providing advice and reports to management or governance.
