Our Opportunity:
The Senior Business Analyst will enable change in the organisation by providing high quality business analysis services through the definition, design and development of solutions that add value and improve business performance. While the Senior Business Analyst supports the business, they also represent ICT from a technical perspective and play a role in ensuring technology applications fully support the achievement of Mercury's strategic goals and are aligned to business units' expectations. The Senior Business Analyst actively supports the Business Analysis Chapter, provides leadership and guidance as well as coaching and mentoring to less experienced BAs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide business analysis services to assigned agile squads or initiatives
- Participate in peer reviewing of deliverables
- Deal with complex situations holistically
- Consistently produce deliverables which are usable and of a high standard
- Day-to-day coaching and support to peers
- Undertake professional and job specific development and training as required
We are looking for:
- A relevant tertiary degree or similar level qualification/ experience in technology
- Any agile or IIBA qualification is desirable
- Relevant experience in business analysis experience working in both adaptive and plan driven projects as part of ICT
- Evidence of strong analysis skills and techniques in identifying, developing, and implementing business change and process improvement initiatives
- Evidence of leadership and influencing skills
- Experience in large and complex projects and/or working across multiple projects
- Experience working as a Business Analysts in an agile delivery squad
