Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in the payment banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payment systems, financial processes, and banking operations. They will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of payment solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to payment systems.
- Analyse and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Work closely with development teams to design and implement File conversion requirements using the mapping specifications.
- Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validating results, and ensuring defects are resolved.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and user expectation
- Conduct workshops and presentations to gather feedback and validate requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
- Encourage a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards.
- Knowledge of Boomi Integrations
- Knowledge of APAC Payment types
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the payment banking domain.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, including TT, FAST. GIRO and other digital payment solutions.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and process modelling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
