Role: The Business Systems Analyst reports to the Head of Project Delivery and works closely with the Product Managers, Development, Support and Infrastructure teams.
In this role you will work with clients to help them understand the market, elicit their requirements, and support them with any business or technological change as they adopt and integrate with our products. You will also help define and scope the requirements for ongoing product development and analyse any impacts on existing clients.
Your Week with Equisoft:
- Own client implementations
- Support product managers in client product demonstrations
- Document client requirements and feed into implementation estimates
- Produce custom integration documentation and example code to enable clients to integrate the product with their systems
- Support clients throughout their onboarding and any build/integration they might have
- Own ad-hoc client projects
- Guide existing clients through smaller projects such as rollout of new features, process reviews, additional configuration, integration, and migrations
- Configure client accounts and write scripts (SQL) to extract data or update them
- Become the product subject matter expert
- Work alongside product managers to help capture, document, and prioritise requirements for new and existing products
- Support the development and test teams within the software development lifecycle
- Be a point of escalation for queries from our support team
- Represent Equisoft UK Products at industry meetings
Requirements:
- Inquisitive, like to try stuff out, problem solver with a technical mind
- Ability to articulate complex scenarios to clients and colleagues effectively - written and verbally
- Strong business analysis skills
- Thorough, with keen attention to detail
- Experience of working closely with development & test teams, understanding of SDLC
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, particular in platforms, wealth management, pension administration and fund administration
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
- Experience of requirements gathering and documentation
- Intermediate SQL
Nice to Haves:
- Proven record of requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience dealing directly with clients
- Understanding of data modelling techniques
- Software engineering/coding experience
- SSRS/SSIS experience
- Intermediate XML
