Are you currently a Data Analyst, then this role could be for you? As a Data Planning Analyst in our End-to-End Development team within Supply Chain & Logistics Planning you will use your expertise to lead and assist in projects aimed at creating new, efficient, and sustainable solutions. The role will be responsible for maximising availability (and therefore sales) by creating an accurate long-term demand plan used for product buying. They will ensure the forecast is set in line with trading strategy to buy the right stock and handle inventory parameters at DC-level to place the stock in the right location to minimise excess stock and operating cost and maximise inventory turn.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Perform forecast modelling and adjust forecasting parameters to ensure the best possible accuracy
- Use product segmentation for purpose of managing forecast accuracy and bias
- Provide reporting on forecast to range/department/Business Unit level for purpose of Business Unit / Department reviews and alignment
- Regular Forecast checks vs merchandising sales plan and reacting to changes in trade performance and adjusting forecasts as and when needed
- Management of inventory settings, responding to trade and adjusting inventory parameters and buying approaches
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- Number orientated analyst with strong mathematical skills
- Experience in business analysis and process improvement: process mapping, problem analysis, opportunity identification, “to be” process proposal and implementation.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify root cause of a process bottleneck/issue and suggest a solution and Proficient in MS Excel and Power Point
- Confident working with data: able to analyse, summarise and confidently tell stories with data and to convey findings in an accessible, informative way.
- Clear and concise communication style, able to simplify and explain complicated concepts to senior audiences. With the ability to effectively manage & influence partners at all levels, building and maintaining a strong network of contacts
