The Information Services Division (ISD) is part of DEECA's Corporate Services Group (CSG) and provides value by delivering and supporting solutions, that provide the platform for the department to manage its business and deliver excellent customer services through technology. The division applies best-practice methods and techniques to deliver projects, operate and govern ICT products and services, aiming to deliver cost-effective technology solutions and embed our customer's needs into all our decision-making.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Project Delivery branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of ICT projects, including supporting the change to the business, in accordance with DEECA's ICT project delivery standards. As the successful applicant you will:
- Identify and capture business requirements in alignment with the project objectives
- Support project planning
- Identify and engage with stakeholders
- Manage requirements
- Engage in achieving business outcomes

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Formal qualifications in business analysis are desirable
- Significant ICT project delivery experience is desirable, preferably more than 3 years
- Demonstrated experience working with a variety of project delivery methodologies, such as Agile, Iterative and Waterfall will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience working on business analysis activities for Microsoft based technology implementations will be highly regarded
- Experience with supporting the delivery Microsoft Power Platform and integration (e.g. MuleSoft) solutions will be highly regarded
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
