The Frontend Supply Chain team seeking a motivated, experienced Business Planning Analyst to provide support to our Supply Chain Organisation located at ADI’s manufacturing facility in Limerick, Ireland. The Business Planning Analyst will join our Front End Planning team in our Supply Chain organisation and help analyse our current customer demand and manufacturing capacity, participate in designing and implementing improvements to these, and using statistical tools and algorithms to generate new manufacturing plans. Additionally, the successful candidate may work with our Supply Chain organization to review and optimize our inventory positions and supply chain processes.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Working with statistical tools and algorithms to analyze manufacturing and sales forecast data;
- Creating mathematical and software models for use in determining the optimal allocation of inventory investments;
- Collecting and analysing manufacturing production, inventory, and cost data to assist management in making manufacturing decisions;
- Designing and implementing systems to improve logistics networks through collaboration with Corporate Information Systems;
- Working with manufacturing and logistics teams to improve supply chain processes and methods;
- Working with US-based and oversees employees to implement new business processes to improve our logistics networks by reducing manufacturing inefficiencies and cycle times
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- Excellent analytical and communications skills
- A manufacturing or forecasting background is a plus
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
