About our Team The Defence Business Integration Program (DBIP) is modernising how Defence does business. It facilitates the transformation of enabling business capabilities that support Defence agility and preparedness. The DBIP is managed by a small branch, currently consisting of 4 Directorates. One of those Directorates is the Capability Realisation and Assurance Directorate.
We are a small team of passionate people who understand that improving business capability takes more than just new technology. We are developing a holistic approach to improving business capability that considers people, process, organisational structure, data and technology. We not only help our constituent projects out by ensuring they consider all of these elements, we also identify and implement change initiatives that sit across the Defence enterprise.
We work closely together so that we can leverage each other’s skills and experience and engage widely with stakeholders to understand the broader environment and identify practical initiatives to improve business capability. Our work in cross-enterprise and cross-program change is relatively new, so you will have the opportunity to really drive these efforts. It’s a pretty exciting space and we’re keen to leverage your knowledge and skills.
Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidates will have a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement. They will enjoy working with people across the Defence enterprise to analyse challenging and highly complex problems and implement creative and pragmatic and solutions. They will be able to work effectively across all levels of Defence, will be big picture and forward thinking and have a holistic approach to problem solving.
