Overview:
We are now looking for eager candidates to join us as apprentices.
The Business Analyst Apprentice will support the delivery of business improvements, changes and developments.
The Apprentice will be responsible for supporting the Business Analysis team undertaking analysis to be able to produce various documents including requirements and customer journey mapping to support various business initiatives.
Participating in Project meetings and Projects Status calls will be frequent.
Location:
This role is home based, but travel to Darlington [DL1 9HB], Sheffield [S4 7TL] or London [EC2T 7NQ] will be required to spend time with the team and attend relevant meetings.
Duties / Roles & Responsibilities:
- Consider and review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, processes and controls and make suggestions to enhance delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and/or clients.
- Ensure that continuous improvement and excellent customer experience are at the heart of all activity.
- Support the documentation of High-Level Business Requirements from and for project stakeholders.
- Work with teams across the business to map processes and controls, support the identification of areas of improvement and articulate requirements in order to drive change and deliver improvements.
- Take ownership of personal and performance development undertaking all relevant training courses to improve pensions and internal systems knowledge and capability.
- Work with and support other Business Analysts on projects.
- Deliver against individual objectives and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and business results.
What we are looking for:
Required experience / skills:

- Can demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to articulate information
- Experience across MS Office applications
Desirable experience / skills:
The ability to create a visual depiction of a business process using flowcharts in order to identify potential improvements, using suitable process mapping tools for example Visio.

Entry requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification + at least 12 months of work experience* + robust onboarding plan (learner must work in the organisation for 3 months before signing up)
- OR business-related degree eg business, finance, economics, maths, etc.
- OR non-business-related degree + at least 6 months of work experience*
- OR existing staff member with 2+ years of work experience**
- Work experience relates to any valid work experience
**Existing staff work experience should not be in a business analyst role
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
Working week:
37.5 hours a week.
