About the team:
You will be working in the Client Services (CS) team as a Business Analyst supporting a financial software product with a global customer base. The FIS Asset Finance product is a corporate leasing solution based in Microsoft .Net Technology and is used by significant global clients. Our environment is flexible and collaborative allowing for a hybrid work model that allows you to work from home and the office.
What you will be doing:
Investigating issues reported by clients.
Reading specifications and confirming functionality is as per design.
Providing appropriate and suitably non-technical explanations to clients.
Gathering requirements quickly and effectively from our clients and providing a suitable solution that meets the client’s needs.
Clearly representing the functional design requirements and solution to stakeholders.
Proactively and collaboratively working with internal and external stakeholders.
Working as part of the CS team across the globe – EMEA, US, APAC, closely collaborating with other departments such as Development, Professional Services, CIO – in providing solutions to client issues.
You will utilise Microsoft development technology to solve complex application and business-related problems.
You will be the FIS Dev Centre's contact for a specific client(s). to project manage their inquiries/defects and guiding the development team (especially the dedicated designer).
Take ownership of client escalations as an Incident Commander (including out-of-hours as there is an on-call requirement for this job role)
Manage a team of designers, providing pastoral care, training and feedback.
Provide training and guidance for Production Support Designers across the globe as well as Client eXperience colleagues, to ensure all solutions meet the product standards.
Share and document knowledge and learning to the global Production Support (CS/CX) community.
Work closely with Production Support Manager and Team Leads so you assist with their duties while they are on leave.
Continually assess the team processes and offer suggestions as to how they can be improved.
What you bring:
5+ years experience in the Asset Finance Product
Experience in Agile development, particularly SAFe and Kanban.
Banking Domain Experience – Loans and Leases lifecycle.
Solid experience as a Business Analyst in a commercial software environment.
Advanced knowledge of end-to-end systems development cycles.
Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with identifying and solving issues in unfamiliar code.
Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Added bonus if you have:
Relational database experience E.g., SQL Server or Oracle.
Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks (ASP.Net, TypeScript, Knockout, SPA, MVVM) and APIs and how to troubleshoot them.
