Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our ERP replacement project, with a specific focus on the Finance and Procurement rollout. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful implementation of a new ERP system, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition.
The selected ERP product has already been chosen, and your primary role will involve the planning, design, and build phases of the project. You will collaborate with stakeholders from finance, procurement, and IT to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications. In addition, you will play a key role in ensuring the solution meets business needs by facilitating workshops, leading requirement gathering sessions, and working closely with technical teams to design, configure, and implement the ERP system.
This role demands strong expertise in ERP systems-particularly in finance and procurement modules-and a track record of successfully delivering system implementations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of balancing technical and business considerations to deliver effective solutions.
- Lead the planning, design, and build phases of the ERP Finance and Procurement rollout.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for the new ERP system.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development and configuration teams.
- Facilitate workshops and lead requirement gathering sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs.
- Work closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure the solution meets operational and business requirements.
- Support the configuration and testing phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the ERP system is delivered successfully.
- Assist in the development of training materials and provide support to end-users during the system rollout.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and objectives.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ERP implementation projects, desireable for experience in focusing on finance and procurement modules.
- Strong understanding of finance and procurement processes and the ability to map them to ERP solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various teams.
- Experience with project planning, requirements gathering, and process design in large-scale system implementations.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, managing competing priorities.
