Become an EXpert as a Data Governance business analyst
The Business Systems Analyst II is a key collaborator working alongside Product Owners and business strategy leaders to understand user needs and deliver impactful solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for the development team, this role guides the maintenance, enhancement, and integration of systems and data to align with business objectives.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Experience with data governance frameworks and concepts.
- Proficiency with data governance tools, such as Collibra Data Catalog and Collibra Data Quality (CDQ).
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in report-writing and analysis tools, including Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to identify, document, and address risks in alignment with risk and compliance policies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to escalate technical issues effectively.
- Experience in creating and maintaining complex business documentation, including business flow diagrams, process maps, and test cases.
- Familiarity with performance measurement and monitoring tools to evaluate the success of products and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in data governance tools or related areas.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Background in managing or supporting data governance initiatives within a large organization.
