Ecocem is shaping the future of low carbon cement with ambitions to deliver a 50% cut in CO2 emissions from cement by 2030. As part of our focus on continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Analyst who will contribute to developing the strategy for future growth at a global level.

The role requires the provision of strong business analysis and reporting, market research and analysis, and development of presentations and reports required to support senior management’s ambitious plans to expand the company at a global level. This role will involve helping Ecocem manage, change, and plan in line with our ambitions and goals. It is a role for an ambitious, creative, and hardworking individual, and while it is a demanding, fast-paced role, it will be hugely rewarding.
Role Responsibilities
- Complete desktop market and industry research, gathering and analysing, and continually updating, key metrics for existing and new target markets.
- Extract data from enterprise databases, government agencies, trade associations, think tanks, subscription databases, and internet research
- Integrate and reconcile data from a variety of sources into Excel databases to create ad-hoc and organisational reports
- Communicate and collaborate with team members from multiple cultures, countries and time zones across the business gathering information and exchanging ideas
- Provide clear communication and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Actively engage in specific community projects to develop and expand relationships between those and Ecocem
- Assist with the coordination of local outreach events
- Present concise analysis on a range of topics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake ad hoc analysis, performing specific analysis on a project-by-project basis as required
Requirements
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience required
- Ability to interpret complex business documents for reports
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to recognize issues, present solutions, and implement action plans
- Ability to readily adapt to changing business conditions and ambiguity
- Ability to manage and prioritize deliverables for multiple projects at a time
- Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and presentation skills; verbal and written
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Fluent Dutch and French speaker desirable
