The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate requirements into detailed technical specifications for software development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for the software development team.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to recommend system changes or enhancements.
- Develop use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring that business objectives align with technical capabilities.
- Assist in project management tasks, including scope definition, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the delivered product meets business requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, software development methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with tools such as Azure, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Experience with process modeling, data flow diagrams, and use case analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Experience in the software development industry or familiarity with cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
- Ability to travel internationally and within the EU.
