The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate requirements into detailed technical specifications for software development.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for the software development team.
Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to recommend system changes or enhancements.
Develop use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring that business objectives align with technical capabilities.
Assist in project management tasks, including scope definition, timelines, and resource allocation.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the delivered product meets business requirements.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, software development methodologies, and emerging technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with tools such as Azure, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Experience with process modeling, data flow diagrams, and use case analysis.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred: Experience in the software development industry or familiarity with cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
Ability to travel internationally and within the EU.
