About The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Business Analyst in for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting into the Application Manager. The Business Analyst position focuses on analysing and enhancing core business processes, leveraging existing technology platforms to maximize operational efficiency and customer value delivery. Through systematic evaluation of current workflows, the Business Analyst identifies opportunities for improvement and innovation. The successful applicant will envision themselves involved with:
- Analyse and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Conduct discovery meetings and workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements
- Document end-to-end business processes to identify operational, financial, and technological improvement opportunities
- Lead meetings and presentations to communicate findings and ideas
- Identify Risks and Opportunities
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field
- Exposure to large scale project delivery, preferably within Industrial & Energy, Construction or the Utilities sector
- Proficient in requirement gathering, documenting end to end business procedures and process mapping
- Highly skilled Business Analyst with the willingness to drive change
- Critical thinker and problem solving. You enjoy a challenge and not afraid to ask questions
