Job Summary:
Obelisk is an internationally competitive professional engineering services business. We provide infrastructure solutions for the telecoms and power sectors in Ireland and UK. In April 2022, Obelisk was acquired by Constructel Visabeira, a Portuguese telecommunications and energy service provider with a turnover in the region of €1.5bn per annum, operating across mainland Europe and in the US.
Process Reviews & Requirement analysis. Building templates, reports and dashboards on Sitetracker. The Business Analyst will work within the IT Department as a bridge between IT & the business from specification through to building templates, reports and dashboards on Sitetracker, end user training and handover With the view to the standardization of Work and the resources required, the Engineering Manager will direct the activities of the Process Engineer and Skills & Development Manager in order to provide consistent reliable data for use by the QS in the costing of Tenders and Projects.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for the Sitetracker (built on Salesforce) system.
- Building out workflow process using process tool.
- Configuring requirements on company org.
- Building Templates, reports and dashboards on Sitetracker.
- Designing solutions that will deliver business efficiencies and productivity.
- Identifying organisational impacts of new business processes or system deployment.
- Training end users.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential
- Logical mind. Solution orientated.
- Good communicator. Team player.
- Computer Science or Information Technology related Degree
- 3+ years' experience working within a technically diverse environment; as a Business or Systems Analyst
- Experience of translating business requirements into formal business requirements & functional specs
- Experience in delivering solutions to complex business requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate confidently (both verbal and written) with employees at all levels
- Good understanding of system development life cycle methodologies
- Experience of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Excellent Flexible approach to all areas of the role
Preferred
- Experience within the Telecoms industry
- Experience working on Salesforce.
- Experience in Excel, Visio.
