The Project Manager, BIT will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Business Information Technology projects across different business functions. Working under the guidance of the Business IT Solutions Manager, you will help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their project management and business analyst skills and contribute to impactful business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT or technical project management and an understanding of ERP systems, preferably related to NetSuite and associated SuiteApps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- NetSuite Implementation and Optimization: Drive NetSuite-related projects, including new implementations, customizations, and system optimizations to meet business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Resource Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, external consultants and service providers, and outsourced analysts to allocate resources effectively and manage project timelines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of project deliverables.
- Training and Support: Ensure end-users are adequately trained on new system features and changes, and transitioning support during go-live and post-implementation phases to the appropriate BIT teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Project Management, or 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity of NetSuite modules, SuiteApps, and integrations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming project challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across departments.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar software.
