You are an experienced Business Analyst, with proven success within an Agile software development environment. Integrations development covers the full range of core business in the Cinema industry, and you will become adept at understanding the domain to both a wide and deep level.
Uncovering intersections between Cinema, 3rd party, Moviegoer, and Vista requirements you'll be involved in scoping, gap analysis, and functional design, closely collaborating with the development team to shepherd each project through to deployment in a live cinema near you.
Within integrations, our core areas of responsibility are Compliance & Fiscalisation, Payments, Data Import/Export & Reports, ERP, and APIs. Any prior exposure to these areas is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Software Design and Analysis
- Gather requirements from project stakeholders including internal Vista staff and external customers
- Analyse customer and business requirements and translate those into a software design that fits within the existing Vista framework
Proposal and Specification writing
- Understand user interface design principles and design intuitive and easy to use interfaces using provided mock-up tools
Communication
- Schedule and chair meetings to discuss and present the requirements of the solution
- Deliver informative, well-organized presentations, and clearly articulating ideas and thoughts
- Ensure that stakeholders across the business are on board with the proposed design
- Initiate and monitor the Specification Approval Process, collaborating with the Product Design Manager to ensure timely completion
- Collaborate across different areas of the business, liaising with international offices as regarding their requirements
- Provide guidance to the Engineering Tribes while specifications are being coded and tested
Vista Application Knowledge
- Develop familiarity with and build knowledge of the full range of Vista applications
- Develop a high level of expertise in selected Vista applications as directed by the Product Director/Delivery Manager, including expertise in functional features of the product, customer use of product, and product installation
- 3+ years' relevant experience in the software industry in a Business Analyst role
- Fundamental understanding of concepts around Agile SDLC, technical systems and specification writing
- Good understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to generate effective requirements, and own feature development to delivery
- Experience working within Integrations a plus
- Ability to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with people at all levels across the company
- Professional Business Analyst qualifications (preferred)
- Undergraduate degree in IT (preferred)
