Business Analyst (15.13)
OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT is looking for a Business Analyst to support the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD). CSD leads the Nation’s strategic and unified work to strengthen the security, resilience, and workforces of the cyber ecosystem to protect critical services. The business analyst will support the federal customers to understand and document business and systems requirements and processes. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Role:
- Document all critical process and systems
- Collaborate with government agencies and departments to gather and analyze business requirements for IT systems, processes, and policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of government programs and initiatives by providing analytical support and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and standards in all business analysis activities and deliverables.
- Support the planning and execution of government projects by documenting requirements, creating project plans, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience working in a similar role on a full-time basis.
- At least 10 years of experience in supporting organizations with business process, documentation, strategy and data analysis ; understand and document business and system requirements and processes.
- Masters degree in a related field
- Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (to include PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, Power BI)
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a current DoD Secret or above Clearance.
Salary Range: $110,000-160,000 commensurate with experience, education, etc.
