ECS is seeking a Business Analyst to work remote.
ECS is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will need to interact with customers, create project documentation, collaborate closely with data engineers and data scientists to convert business requirements into technical specifications, develop and maintain procedures, manuals, process maps, functional specifications, business, and technical documentation, and provide support for the daily project operations.
Primary Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for automation.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business and technical constraints.
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain procedures, manuals, process maps, functional specifications, business, and technical documentations.
- Support customer training initiatives.
- Support gap analysis and risk assessments to identify challenges in transitioning from manual to automated workflows.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guide others in one or more of the following areas: knowledge management, business process development, functional requirements development.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as, scheduling, maintaining project wikis, and data entry.
- Facilitate any User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as needed.
- Facilitate and coordinate with other teams to support content development for release and success story communications.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000.00

Requirements:
- Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance (Active DHS clearance is a plus - U.S. Citizenship is a requirement to obtain clearance).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or supporting IT projects.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, including data engineers and data scientists.
- Self-starter who can take initiative, work independently, and drive project success.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing projects in Atlassian.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
