Being a Business Service Analyst at DFAS, one will be fully focused to support properly financial and Accounting systems by working as a help desk to address problems associated with user access, documentation, and display. Some of your responsibilities will include the overall coordination and evaluation of customers’ change requests, the documentation of the application system, and computerized interfacing between two systems. They will guarantee that all the systems shall continue to work, and more to the expectations of the users thus enhancing the overall capacity of DFAS in the issue of its financial management services.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve user access issues, document retrieval issues, and display issues within 2 hours from 0600 – 1800 Monday-Friday. Report status to the COR and PM every 2 hours until resolved.
- Provide setup, testing, and support for system-to-system interfaces to maintain operational capability.
- Manage and review the customer change request list, categorize deficiencies, and recommend resolutions quarterly.
- Provide application system documentation including system overviews, installation procedures, and common error code definitions.
Qualifications:
- Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives using information technology and industry knowledge/requirements.
- Acts as a liaison between customer and technical solutions/support groups to identify business processes, systems, and product requirements.
- Researches, identifies and develops solutions to problems.
- Analyzes business and user needs, and documents customer specifications
